The Magazine Club appeared on Sergio's radar in an important time in his life. Having become a global name, with a whole organization behind him and many restaurants to be the face of, something was happening that impeded on his happiness - he was no longer cooking much.
He decided to take control of his passion, and opened PrivéPrivée, a restaurant in Antwerp that is only open when he is there, personally cooking for a maximum of 24 guests. The space is to feel like an extension of his home, like you are having the exclusive experience of eating at his own kitchen table.
With this slowing down, return to less and higher quality, to presence and to in-person experiences, there was a fruitful combustion when The Magazine Club and Sergio collided.
This resulted in a long-term partnership, where TMC is now PrivéPrivée's in house art squad, deploying the mood around his menus through art every season.

Sergio Herman, who was the youngest Dutch chef to receive three michelin stars, is The Magazine Club's permanent client. This is the first menu that was made for him.
